Since I founded Rocky Mountain Rustics in 1998, my driving purpose has been to develop and craft extraordinary projects in a way that is both intelligent and efficient. Out of that simple objective grew a company and a team of people that I could never have envisioned.

So much of who we are and what we’ve become is a direct result of finding creative solutions to both universal and mountain-specific challenges: How can we construct the highest quality buildings, on time and on budget, despite inevitable site, weather, equipment, materials, and staffing issues? The short answer to the hard question, I learned, is simple. Working intelligently means working efficiently - a concept that has become our purpose: the thorn in our side propelling us forward, and the crowning achievement at the end of the day.

To live up to the standard we’ve set, RMR Group, has grown tremendously over the last eleven years. We’ve added nearly 50 expertly trained employees and five fully-owned divisions—land development, civil engineering, construction, a full-service log and timber yard, equipment rental, and a project management division—all of which allow us to control every aspect of the development and construction process - and consequently, to make pledges we can keep.
